The School was established in 2010, by a highly experienced Dorchester couple. A music educator and performer with over 30 years of teaching and 35 years performance experience, and his wife, a performing artist and business professional for more than 30 years. In 2010, they decided to expand from a thriving private teaching practice, and opened The Boston School of Music Arts in the eclectic and diverse community of Dorchester’s Lower Mills, right near the Milton, MA border.
