Zantac

Zantac controls stomach acid production by reducing its volume and concentration, so less acid can escape into the oesophagus. Taking a single Zantac tablet can help control acid production and provide relief from the symptoms of heartburn for up to 24 hours. Antacids neutralise stomach acid effectively (make it less acidic), but relief from symptoms is only short-lived.
