The School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering was one of the three founding schools of the Nanyang Technological University, which at the time was known as the Nanyang Technological Institute. The first batch of students graduated successfully in 1985. It is now known to be one of the most prestigious schools bringing forth competent engineers year after year. This school not only offers various disciplines of electrical and related engineering, but also extends its scope to various intriguing disciplines of research.
