Canadian owned and operated, Schlegel Villages is owner and operator of high quality long term care and retirement Villages across Ontario. Our Villages benefit from the Schlegel family having over 40 years of direct experience co-owning, managing and operating Long Term Care and Retirement Communities in Ontario.

Currently, there are 15 Schlegel Villages housing approximately 2500 seniors. Six of our fifteen Villages are full continuum Villages; featuring Full Service Retirement Suites, Assisted Care, Memory Care, Apartments and Long Term Care (Arbour Trails does not have the long term care component). The first Schlegel Village opened in 1998 in Kitchener. Six opened between 2001 and 2005, four between 2006 and 2010 and the most recent long term care Village in Windsor (The Village at St. Clair).

Retirement Living Phases will be under construction at two of our existing long term care locations in Hamilton and Mississauga in 2015/2016. A new long term care location will open in Waterloo in 2015. Additional expansion is planned at other locations to house a total estimated 7,000 seniors over the next 10 years.
