OrthoMedix opened its lab facilities at the Southvale Medical Plaza in 1992 where we operated until an unfortunate building fire in March 2009 that necessitated a move our new, larger facilities at 1749 St. Laurent Blvd.

The ultimate goal in establishing OrthoMedix was to respond to a growing need for a professional establishment to fit and manufacture orthopaedic and orthotic devices and appliances in the Ottawa (Canada) area. OrthoMedix’ reputation is built on quality of work and the personal service we provide our patients. Our technicians offer clients over 60 years combined experience in the orthotic and orthopaedic fields.
