Our Story
Founded in 1958 by the Halde brothers, Carrière d’Acton Vale Ltée first specialised in crushed stone manufacturing. In 1964, the Halde brothers invested in a ready-mixed concrete plant. Throughout the years, with the increasing demand, the concrete mixer fleet grew.

In compliance with the Industry’s Standards
In 1988, with the integration of the second generation into the company’s management, and always looking to offer its customers quality products and services, Carrière d’Acton Vale Ltée focuses its efforts on getting its products certified. That is why the company's agricultural lime was awarded certificates of compliance from the Bureau de normalisation du Québec and, its ready-mixed concrete meets Qualibéton 9000 standards.

The company’s crushed stone also meets the most demanding quality standards recommended, like the alkali/granulate reaction, Micro-Deval, Los Angeles, etc.
