Merovitz Potechin LLP is a law firm with an established reputation for integrity and expertise.

The firm was started by Chuck Merovitz in April of 1976 and, in June of 1978, Chuck invited Bram Potechin to join as a partner. Together, they have built the firm upon a foundation of superior legal advice and exceptional client service.

In 1996, after almost twenty years in practice, the firm began a calculated period of expansion to meet the developing needs of its clients. In 1996, Robert De Toni was hired to help grow the Litigation Department and, in 1997, Timothy Grieve joined the firm to lead its Business Law Team. Both Rob and Tim became partners.

Since 1997, Merovitz Potechin LLP has been in a mode of controlled growth, adding legal professionals in five core areas (Disputes & Litigation, Insolvency & Collections, Real Estate, Business Law, and Wills, Trust & Estates), as well as in other niche areas such as Franchise Law.

Throughout the firm’s history, the partners have held integrity and giving back to community as the foremost of its values. The firm has formally established five core values: Integrity, Caring, Respect, Teamwork and Professionalism.
