Red South Beach Hotel

Red South Beach Hotel at 3010 Collins Avenue was built in 1930 and is in the “Collins Waterfront” historic district . The building is considered to be in the Moderne Style or “Streamline” Moderne which took influence from the new “streamlined” character of luxury cruise liners and automotives of the 1930’s. The style is characterized by the continuous “eyebrows” (ledges above the windows) found around the building.
