Loughlin Electric has been in business since the spring of 1987. Jim Loughlin was a single man when he started Loughlin Electric with one truck working out of his parent’s basement. Jim had not much money and not much credit. Jack Daddario, the former owner of Daddario supply (Now Ferguson supply), gave him a line of credit and off he went. Starting with small jobs that no one else would do. He now has five trucks, six technicians, and he still does the jobs no one else will do,as well as larger ones. Jim’s idea was to try to get as many repeat customers as he could by doing good clean quality work. Jim’s dad told him not to long after he started in business, “Your customers may not know good electrical from bad but they do know clean from dirty”. Since that day Loughlin Electric has been trying hard to hire the most qualified technicians who are clean cut, clean shaven, and do clean work. Today, Jim has his hands full with a wife, two kids and still running Loughlin Electric.
