Abbott’s strives to improve and maintain the air quality within a given building. Refurbishment of air handlers endeavors to reduce indoor air pollution, create an improved, clean working environment, and reduce possible cross-contamination associated with polluted units. Many refurbishments include the replacement of all fresh air and return air dampers, heating coils, cooling coils, humidifiers and re-built blowers including new blower shafts, bearings, sheaves, belts and motors. Removal of fiberglass insulation, rust remediation, replacement of door handles, compartment door seals, upgraded lighting, and replacement of filter racks. These upgrades vastly improve the air handlers efficiency.
