You can travel in comfort without having to worry about factors like weather conditions and traffic. The Dehradun Railway Station is situated in the middle of the main city. It will be easy for you to find a train to this city as it is well-connected to all the major Indian cities like Delhi, Kolkata, and Lucknow etc. You will not lack for food in this medium as there are shops are located at every platform. In addition to that you can easily find a hotel near the railway station to stay for the night.
If you want to travel by Air
If you’re someone who wants to travel in comfort and is willing to splurge for it, taking a flight to Dehradun will be your best option. Not only will you get to enjoy the view from up top, you will also get regular refreshments and great service. If you want to reach Dehradun by air, you will have to take a flight to the Jolly Grant Airport near Dehradun. You can take a flight till there from wherever you are as the airport is well-connected to all the major cities like Delhi, Lucknow and Kolkata. How to reach the Sankri Base Camp from Dehradun?
After reaching Dehradun you can easily find a shared taxi or a private cab to take you to your starting point. The Sankri Base Camp is a village at the altitude of 6,500 ft while the Kedarkantha peak is at the high altitude of 12,500 ft. You will come across a plethora of things to see before you reach your destination.
