He began his career in the Tucson Mortgage Industry in 2006 after carving out a successful career in the customer service sector at AOL / Time Warner. As a Fortune 500 Top Sales Manager, Derrick learned the necessary ingredients to lead his team to achieve results.

Being devoted to helping his customers reach their goals has resulted in Derrick being recognized as a leader in his industry. In the last five years, The Polder group has helped thousands of families; funding over a quarter of a billion dollars towards home ownership. As a result, Derrick has repeatedly ranked among the top 5 five loan officers in Arizona and in the top 1% nationwide amongst hundreds of thousands of his peers.

In 2011, Derrick became a certified instructor for real estate education, and is now known locally as a dynamic speaker within the real estate industry. Derrick is committed to providing outstanding service to his clients and partners, as well as building lasting relationships in his community. Coming from a military family, Derrick was born in Athens, Greece but was raised in Tucson and considers Arizona one of the most beautiful places in the world. When not at work he enjoys spending quality time with his friends and family often participating in a activities such as soccer, basketball, mountain biking, and travel. Derrick’s love for meeting new people and building friendships has always been, and will always be, the foundation of his business.
